Benjamin Harrison "Bud" Yarborough, 77 of Mamers died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. A lifelong resident of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison, Sr. and Lora O'Quinn Yarborough. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia "Speck" Yarborough; a son, Marty Daryl Yarborough; a daughter Lorie Jan Yarborough; two bothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, January 17, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Martin Groover officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home, other times at the home of Holly Burgess.

Survivors include his daughters: Holly Leigh Burgess and husband Teddy Mack Burgess of Mamers; Wendy Kelly Yarborough and fiancé Frank Adams of Sanford; Two granddaughters: Tabetha Ann Burgess and Landee Brooke Burgess; Three step grandsons: Cameron, Jesse, and Blake Burgess
