Beatrice H. Holder, 78 of Sanford died Monday, January 26, 2015 at her home.

Beatrice was born November 5, 1936 in Harnett Co. to the late William Itha and Mina Holder. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Dannie Claude Holder; 2 brothers, Donald and Bill Holder, 3 sisters, Inez Mangum, Lee Etta Barefoot, and Lindy Clark.

Beatrice retired from W. Koury Company after 27 years and Eagle Electric. She was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church.

Beatrice is survived by a daughter, Tammy Allen Parker and husband Bill of Lillington; 2 sons, Dannie Lynn Allen of Sanford; William Larry Allen of Lillington; 2 sisters, Betty Lou Brown and husband Bill Ray and Shirley Gail Holder both of Lillington; 2 brothers, Earl Holder and wife Jeanette of Broadway and Oscar Holder of Lillington; 4 grandchildren, William Claude Parker, Georgia Brooke Allen, William Bryan Allen and Chad Denton Allen; 2 great grand children, Hagen and Austin.

A funeral service will be held 3:30 Thursday at Spring Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Terry Williams and Bobby Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at Holder Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 P.M. Thursday at the church and other times at the home of Tammy.
