Mrs. Ausilee Kelly Spainhour, 88, of Mamers passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Oak Hill Living Center in Angier. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Lacy and Pearl Nordan Kelly. Ausilee was a life long member of Antioch Baptist Church. She retired from Eaton Corporation in 1990. Ausilee will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and Granny. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Allen Spainhour; twin brother, Austin; 3 half-brothers, Irenous, Chalmers and Leo Kelly and 2 half-sisters, Eunice Brown and Barbara Jean Adkison.

Ausilee is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Holland of Fuquay-Varina; son, Tom Spainhour and wife Lisa of Buies Creek; 7 grandchildren, June Propes and husband Keith, Jason Spainhour, Jonathan Holland and wife Jillian, Matt Spainhour and wife Kelley, Ben Spainhour and wife Grace, Nate Spainhour and Zach Spainhour; 3 great-granddaughters, Anna Spainhour, Addie Spainhour and Hadley Holland; 2 half-sisters, Louise K. Rahilly and Frances Kelly; step-sister, Aline Kelly.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Rev. Martin Groover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at her home.
