Mrs. Katherine King Bullock, age 86, of Lillington died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. She was born in Wilson County, the daughter of the late Arthur Lee King and Arcadia Dupree King. Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband, William Clinton Bullock. She was a member of Lillington Baptist Church and a member of the Sarah Womble Sunday School Class. Mrs. Bullock was also a member of the Antioch Baptist Church Happy Travelers Group. She was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. A private burial will be held in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at the home of Teresa and Barry Knox, 170 Tirzah Dr., Lillington, NC 27546.

She is survived by four daughters, Dana Bullock Myrick and husband Gerald of New Bern, Vickie Bullock Rich and husband Craig of Aiken, SC, Teresa Bullock Knox and husband Barry of Lillington, Rhonda Bullock Hall and husband Freddy of Wallace, grandchildren, Angie Myrick Fussell, Aimee Myrick Merritt, Christopher Scott Vinson, Clinton Andrew Knox, Fredric Clayton Hall, Jr., Nolan Bullock Hall, Candice Mills Knox, William Hampton Hall, great-grandchildren, Grayson Myrick Fussell,Casen Gregory Merritt,Baylor Gerald Merritt, sister,Ava Lee Straughn of Knightdale.
