Elizabeth "Anne" Truelove Lanier, 67 of Fuquay-Varina went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Perry and Rosa Truelove. She is preceded in death by her brother Norman Leon Truelove.

Anne loved and supported her friends and neighbors and was always the first person there if anyone needed anything. She was a member of Christian Light Christian Church where she taught Sunday School. She was devoted to her family, always calling and checking on them, especially her grandson.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Christian Light Christian Church with Rev. Jimmy Elliott and Rev. Craig McLeod officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home and all other times at her residence.

Mrs. Lanier is survived by her husband of 48 years Lawrence Lanier; 1 daughter, Laura Lanier White and husband Tommy of Fuquay-Varina; 1 brother, Gene Truelove and wife Nanette of Fuquay-Varina; 2 sisters, Rebecca McLeod of Buffalo, NY and Frances Turnage of Cary; 1 grandson, Lance Corporal William Randall White.
