Mrs. Anne Eliza Lipscomb Britt, 85, of Angier died Friday, August 7, 2020 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Anne was born on April 7, 1935 in Harnett County to the late Thomas Samuel and Eliza Smith Lipscomb. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Britt, sister, Virginia Overton, brothers, Carl Lipscomb, Paul Lipscomb, Ernest Lipscomb, Tommy Lipscomb, Joe Lipscomb, and Billy Lipscomb.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann Britt of the home; son, John Britt and wife Rhonda of Angier; grandson, Adam Britt of the home; grandchildren, Ashton and Carson Britt of Angier; sister-in-law, Joyce Canady of Clayton, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday August 11, 2020 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel in Lillington. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. A public viewing will be held on Monday from 11:00AM- 5:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will not be present during the public viewing.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
