Ms. Angel Ann Kersey, 25, of Lillington died Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Angel was such an outgoing free-spirit.  She had a beautiful soul and was loved by all who knew her. She was a graduate of Western Harnett High School, Class of 2011.  Angel was currently enrolled in the nursing program at Central Carolina Community College.

She is survived by her parents, Melissa Harper and Steve Kersey; her fiancée, Brandon Griffin; her step-son, Brendan Griffin; her sister, Dena Marsh; two brothers, Clayton Weber and Carl Thompson; step-sister, Kimberly Lemons; her grandfather, Pat Harper; aunt, Kathy Thompson; uncles, Dale Harper, Larry Harper, Bobby Kersey, Lenny Kersey and Jeff Kersey; and six nieces and nephews, Ava Chalmers, Aleena Marsh, Amelia Marsh, Santana Marsh, Ayani Ayers and Nevaeh Lemons.

Angel was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nettie Harper; and her paternal grandparents, Wilma Kersey and Bobby Kersey.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 4 to 6 pm at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.
