Mrs. Aline H. Kelly, 96, of Lillington passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at her home. She was born in Harnett County and lived there all her life. Aline was a lifelong and the oldest female member of Ephesus Presbyterian Church in Lillington. She loved cooking, baking, quilting and doing word search puzzles. She was well known for her homemade chocolate pies. Aline was preceded in death by her mother, Donnie Holder Kelly; husband, Irenous Kelly; sons, Roy and Ray Kelly; brother, Leo Kelly and sister, Barbara Kelly Adkison.

Aline is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Kelly and wife Barbara of Lillington, John Kelly of Lillington; 2 grandchildren, Sharon LaPlante and Heather Redd; 7 great-grandchildren, John Furr, Andrew Maxwell, Rebekah Maxwell, Matthew LaPlante, Benjamin LaPlante, Landon Redd, Gabrielle Redd; 2 sisters, Louise Rahilly of Fayetteville and Frances Kelly of Lillington; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Ephesus Presbyterian Church in Lillington with Rev. Bert Pitchford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at the home.
