Mrs. Alene West Orr, 90, of Broadway passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Levi W. West and Sarah Vuncannon West. Alene was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Temple and seven brothers and sisters.

Alene is survived by 2 sons, Michael Orr of Bunnlevel and John "Jackie" Orr of Lillington, daughter, Sharon Orr and husband Larry Livingston of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren, 12 great–grandchildren; sister, Maxine Beasley of Fuquay-Varina.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, July 9, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
