Mrs. Myrtle Beard Johnson, 66, of Linden, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019.

Myrtle was born July 11, 1952 in Harnett County to the late Harvey James and Gertrude Beard. She worked as a CNA for 35 years in the Harnett County area.

A private service will be held.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Harvey and Dennis Beard; and a sister, Virginia Beard Morgan.

Myrtle is survived by her two children, Kenneth Gerald McLamb, Jr. and wife April and Angela McLamb Donaldson; 3 grandchildren, Hannah Nicole McLamb, Nathaniel Donaldson and Noah Donaldson; and two brothers, Chester Beard and wife Connie, and William Beard and wife Debbie.
