Larry McCray Obituary
Retired US Air Force Master Sergeant Larry D. McCray, 59, of Lillington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Larry served for 23 years in the Air Force, during which he served in the Gulf War.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2 pm at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow in Westview Cemetery with military honors.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Nicole McCray; and father, Donald McCray.
Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan McCray; daughter, Stephanie Mauro and husband, Nick, of Willow Spring; one grandson, Ryan Mauro; and his mother, Doris McCray of Hayesville.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home.
