Dawn M. Bisson

After years of faithful service, Mrs. Dawn Marie Bisson, 57, of Willow Spring, was called home by her Lord so He could thank her face to face.   We praise God that Dawn’s soul has left her broken earthly body early this morning, January 15th.

Dawn was born in Anchorage, AK to the late Bruce Sr. and Susan Milene on October 5, 1961.  Growing up, she was an Air Force brat who bumped around the US due to her father’s assignments.  Dawn was a stay-at-home mom as her daughter Samantha was growing up, and she devoted her life to taking care of her family.  She had various jobs throughout the years ranging from nighttime security guard in the Grand Tetons to administrative assistant for Progress Energy.  Regardless, she enjoyed whatever she was doing.

A celebration of Dawn's life will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019, at 2 pm at Wake Chapel Christian Church in Fuquay-Varina.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Barrie of the home; daughter, Samantha Johnson (Jay) of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Katelynn, Madelyn, Andrew and Abigael; brothers, Bruce Milene, Jr. (Sherri) of Seattle, Frank Milene of Ajo, AZ, and Charles Milene (Linda) of Chehalis, WA; and a sister, Brenda James of Bellingham, WA.

Her gentle spirit remains with everyone she touched.
