Bill Fore

Billy Bryant Fore, 82, passed away at his home in Christian Light on Saturday, December 7, 2019, after several years of declining health.

Bill was born April 8, 1937 in Harnett County to the late Fred Thomas Fore and Hattie Dean Fore.  Bill was a retired tobacco farmer.  He was an avid fisherman, racing enthusiast and one of the best pig cookers ever. 

He was a coach to his son, Chris and many others in his younger years.  Bill loved his community and it brought him great joy when he could share the fruits of his labor.  Bill loved his family and was always willing to stop what he was doing to listen and help you if he could.

Bill was a member of Christian Light Church and he understood the principle of loving your neighbor as he was always trying to serve in his community in some capacity until his health began to decline.

Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Howard Fore; daughter, Pam and husband Gary Drew; sons, Chris Fore and Brian Jackson; grandchildren, James Zackary "Zack" Fore, Ashley Hardison, Courtney Hardison, Brandon Jackson, Adan Jackson and Camren Jackson; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Harrison, Gus Hill and Catherine Elizabeth Fore; and sisters, Alois Brown and Emily McDonald, both of Fuquay-Varina.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 2 pm at Christian Light Church.  The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 pm.  If any of BIll's close friends would like to share any special memory of him, there will be time set aside during the service.  The burial will follow immediately afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his wife, Barbara Fore, 4688 Christian Light Road, Fuquay-Varina NC 27526, to help with medical expenses.
